Taken, the movie
Liam Nielson makes the movie “Taken” work as a piece of entertainment. The plot is best taken as a teenage boy’s day-dream where everything works for the hero and there are no consequences for anything. This movie has at least fifteen murders done with great violence in Paris. One teenage girl is killed. A police officer’s wife is shot as a threat. The hero comes home with not a care in the world. WOW. That story is too much for me. I like a bit more reality.
